Head Over Hills

Born Henry Birch in 2004, the English musician grew up in Singapore where at an early age became influenced by Pop and Rap music. In 2014, Henry returned to England where he became obsessed with with writing music of his own. Starting from recording videos of him singing he soon found a passion for music. After a few years of on and off creating, he only became fully submerged into music on December 8th 2019 when the death of his favourite artist occurred. He then started releasing songs on soundcloud and practicing daily. His friends motivated him to create music to the point where he feels unstoppable as they showed him support and love throughout the process. He began to spend hours a day practicing songwriting and freestyling. Finally on December 8th 2020, Henry released ‘Listen’, a song that soon became a small attraction on Soundcloud. He decided to stop releasing songs after this release and focus more on improving his music to the point where he had confidence in himself. After a long 9 months of 4-8 hours of creating everyday, Henry became confident with his ability to express his music. Which led to him at the end of summer 2021 to work on a big dream of his, to create an album. Using a blue yeti mic and Logic Pro free trial, he found himself racing to finish the album before the trial was over. Finally on the 2nd last day of the trial, he was finished. Now Henry’s album “ Long Story Short” is available on all platforms.
